Refine and finalize the Language Access Policy, identify and prioritize documents for translation into plain language and foreign languages, track costs of providing language access services for FY 2022, identify solutions to hire and retain LEP persons, identify and prioritize the languages that the City should consistently accommodate using existing staff versus seeking external language services to communicate with LEP (Limited English Proficiency) individuals, create a clear internal process and timeframe for resolving language access complaints, and update website so that it is more accessible to LEP persons and those with disabilities.
