Begin community engagement process that will guide the City’s impact & legacy plan for the 2034 Olympics & Paralympics.

Continue downtown connection, activation, and beautification by securing funding to beautify the 9 Line trail, moving forward with engagement & design on 500 W and the Civic Center.

Begin to plan for transportation projects that will support the Olympics and Paralympics. Engage and collaborate with other City Departments and Divisions to combine projects in the Public Way to realize cost savings through economies of scale.

Build off the planning work completed in 2025 to fund and implement a parking wayfinding signage program that uses clear visual cues to guide drivers and pedestrians efficiently to public parking.

Develop a curb management action plan with strategies and policies to optimize curbside space for competing uses like parking, deliveries, ride-sharing, public transit, biking, and outdoor dining.
